I am a mixed raced writer from North London.  Although London is my home I spent much of my teenage years traveling around the world representing Great Britain as a junior tennis player, when I would scribble down poems on the aeroplane or in the hotel rooms.

Writing allows me to be honest with myself when life feels out of sync. Today I love to perform my poems on the stage; there is something beautiful about lifting my words off the page and using my body to tell stories.
